Saturday October 18 marks a day full of wonder and a spooky good time- Sunshine Makers Market is back at Helms Design District to inspire your fall with inspiring local makers, artists, small businesses and creatives all based right here in LA. What's more? Now YOU CAN BE CREATIVE WITH US!
Join us for our latest installment of #MakersClasses at Helms Design District with our exciting collaboration with artist Jess Bolero- she'll be setting up at our market on October 18th with all the supplies for you and your BFF to sit down and explore your creative skills painting two of Jess's favorite subjects- either Paint Your Own Poppies or Paint Your Own Cloud Landscape!
This is a beginner-friendly, guided painting experience where guests create their own ready-to-hang artwork, inspired by Jess's signature dreamy landscapes and botanical themes.
Each ticket is good for one painting session, with instructions and supplies provided by the artist (and a goodie bag to boot!). Each painting session is typically 60-90 minutes long and seating is provided.
Ages 12+
What's Included
Medium: Acrylic paints, brushes, easels, cradled wood panels, instruction and good vibes
A finished, varnished painting on wood (with hanger attached)
A mini goodie bag featuring postcards and stickers of my original artwork
This experience brings a hands-on, creative energy, giving artists (you!) something beautiful and personal to take home.
If you're having a great time and supplies allow, you're welcome to stay longer and add another session!
Attendees under 18 years of age should have an adult with them.
*These class sessions will take place on Lukshon patio on Helms Plaza (near the back end of Room & Board), during Sunshine Makers Market and Culver City Arts Walk and Roll Festival. Parking in Helms Venice lots is recommended.
